Extreme Yum!

Most sequels are worse than their originals. They’re just a cash grab, preying on the same audience with little regard for quality. Sometimes though, the sequel can take the fun of the first movie and make it even better. Such is the case with Dekora, the sequel to In The Raw in Bricktown.

In The Raw was successful enough and owners Anna and Drew Mains could have just cash-cowed the space for another few years and called it a success. Instead, they transformed the space with Robot House Creative and rebuilt their food and drink menu to reopen as Dekora. Cocktails like the King Kaiju and Tokyo Nights, starters like Karagi Strips and Sushi Tacos, rolls like Starblazer and Tokyo Sunset take the good of the original and make it great.

And the best part of this sequel? It’s fun. Go enjoy yourself. Take in the bright colors and bold flavors. The music is loud because it’s supposed to be loud. Relax and have another round of cocktails or a Sapporo on tap. Dekora is the sequel where you’re the hero and everybody wins.
